Bedlam Theatre is located at 1501 S. 6th St in the West Bank neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

• Across from the big, colorful, iconic high-rise of Riverside Plaza
• 2 blocks from Cedar Avenue toward downtown on 6th Street

We hope you find it convenient to visit Bedlam HOWEVER you travel – but we confess… we love bicycles, and offer $2 discounts on food and beverages when you BIKE, WALK, or ride PUBLIC TRANSIT to our shows.  (We call it “How Did You Get Here.”)

TRANSPORTATION:

BICYCLE: The HIAWATHA bike path follows the Hiawatha LRT cooridor and connects to the Greenway to the South and 11th Avenue downtown.

LIGHTRAIL:  We’re directly on the Cedar/Riverside LRT.  When you get off the train just look across the tracks and there we are.  CLICK HERE for MetroTransit and LRT Park & Ride locations.

BUS: the 19 goes down Cedar. You  can get off at S. 6th Street and walk 2 blocks west. We’re on the left hand side at the end of the block.

PARKING: When we moved in 2007, this parking lot seemed big – now OUR LOT IS FULL PRETTY EARLY MOST EVENINGS (busy, good, hassle, bad).  DON’T WORRY When Bedlam’s full, we think your best bet is to park in one of the pay lots on Riverside Avenue either side of Cedar.

The closest lot to Bedlam is the city lot across from Mixed Blood $2-$6 depending on your stay, the most secure is the University ramp across from Hard Times and Kwok $6 – just past the Uramp on both sides of Riverside are more city lots for $4.

These lots are ALL WITHIN a FOUR BLOCK WALK of Bedlam.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS to BEDLAM:

To get to the West Bank -

from 35W take the Washington Ave./UofM West Bank Exit head toward campus (away from downtown) on Washington which rounds a curve and becomes Cedar around the Holiday Inn, Grandma’s and the Southern Theatre. Head South on Cedar and 2 blocks past Riverside take a right on S. 6th St and go to almost the end of the block. The parking lot and building are on the left. For paid parking options turn right on 15th Avenue.

From 94 East take the Riverside/25th Exit and turn West on Riverside toward the campus to Cedar Avenue. Cross Cedar Ave. and follow Riverside (which is now 4th st.) to the end of the block. Mixed Blood is on your left (the nearest pay-lot is on your right). Take a left on 15th Ave. and one block up to S. 6th Street. Take a left (only way to go). On your right is our building. Just past our building is the Bedlam parking lot.

From 94 West take the Cedar Ave exit and turn right, and go one block north to S. 6th Street. Take a left and go to almost the end of the block. The parking lot and building are on the left.  If the Bedlam lot is full, take a right on 15th for more parking options.

AIRPLANE to BEDLAM:

If you’re coming from New York, L.A. or Des Moines for a show – the LIGHT RAIL Transit Train connects with both (formerly named) terminals of the Minneapolis International Airport. Take the train toward DOWNTOWN and get off at the CEDAR RIVERSIDE stop, we’re literally right there.
