The Bedlam Board helps link our work with the broader community, supports the development of our programs and organization, raises funds, and ensures all our programs tie back into our mission.

If you’ve got the passion for Bedlam, professional expertise that could serve our organization, time and energy to volunteer, you may be Bedlam Board material.

Board meetings are currently held monthly on the third Monday.

BEDLAM BOARD of DIRECTORS

Scott Pakudaitis (Board Chair) Scott is an avid supporter of theater in the Twin Cities and serves as a freelance photographer for theater and dance events including the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Scott also works as Research Administrator for the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment at the University of St. Catherine.

Anne Gadwa (Board Treasurer) Anne is the Principal for Metris Arts Consulting which provides data, analysis and planning support to help communities strengthen the arts and help arts activity strengthen communities. She has past experience working at Minneapolis’ Community Planning and Economic Development Department and as Finance Manager for In the Heart of the Beast Theater.

Amy Danielson (Board Secretary) Amy is Marketing Coordinator for Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Has previous experience in public relations for the University of Minnesota. Got connected to Bedlam while writing for the MN Daily.

Barbra Berlovitz (Board Member) Barbra is a local theater artist and founding member of Theatre de la Jeune Lune where she served as Artistic Director for nearly 30 years. She is an affiliate faculty at the University of Minnesota.

John Bueche (Board Member, Executive Artistic Director) John is the Executive Artistic Director for Bedlam Theatre and is a co-founder of the company. John is a multi-faceted theatre artist with a background as a writer/director/designer with that work evolving toward organizational, program and venue design in recent years.

Jacquie Dutton (Board Member) Jacquie is Product Commercialization Manager for Exclusive Brand Electronic at Best Buy. Has a background in strategic planning and marketing for media and manufacturing firms.

Jim Erchul (Board Member) Jim is the Director of the Dayton’s Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services. His two decades of leadership with Dayton’s Bluff in St. Paul provides years of real estate experience and knowledge of working with low income communities. Jim is also an involved resident in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood

Abdirizak Mahboub (Board Member) Zack is Bush Fellow attending University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. He is the former Executive Director of Cedar Riverside Neighborhood Revitalization Program. From there he was able to play a key role in deepening Bedlam youth programs, particularly in establishing connections with teens and young adults.

Maren Ward (Board Member, Producing Artistic Director) Maren is an Artistic Director for Bedlam Theatre and co-founder of the company. Maren is a collaborative theatre artist with focus in performance and facilitation. She is Artistic Director of the zAmya Theater Project.
