Week TWO of Ten-Fest PLAYDATES this Sunday and Monday!!

Holy Cow!! Thanks to everyone who made the first week of TenFest Open-Space PLAYDATES so fantastic.

Join in THIS WEEK, Sunday and/or Monday, and BE INVOLVED in the 11th Annual Ten Minute Play Festival.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN THIS SUNDAY and MONDAY:

Kristin VanLoon and Arwen Wilder of HIJACK (Sunday) secret surprise theater movement adventure.

Lelis Brito (Monday) leads both a movement intensive AND context improv: “anyone who wants to to bring their sound, 4-minute script, set, or costume idea. OBJECTS welcome.  I will lead a warm-up and teach some very specific movement material to those who want to try out the movement-theatre pieces.  Two teams will then work on  sound and costume/set.  We’ll perform the movement material we have back to back with whichever element we can change.”

On these AMENDMENTS: John Bueche and Chris Garza (both days) On Sunday we’ll delve into research on the Marraige, Voter ID and other ballot amendments, then on Monday we’ll be on our feet and craft Sunday’s work into a quick performance.

Continuing threads from last week include “We work in Schools” – “Love and Addiction” – “Stranger” – “Cat and Human Attraction” – we’ll look for more scripts to emerge and maybe hear updates and rewrites from the scripts we enjoyed last week.

YOU can propose a workshop or brainstorm session ON THE SPOT – or simply come to check it out and get involved.
