Bedlam teams up with the Walker Art Center for a blow-out finale to their year-long Adventures in New Puppetry series, co-presenting a brand spanking new show by Improbable Theatre (Holy S#@%!!! IMPROBABLE THEATRE?!?!?!) and creating a ginormous PUPPET CINEMA installation with MN puppets of all shapes and sizes.
“The DEVIL and MISTER PUNCH” is IMPROBABLE THEATRE’s fresh, hot, naughty, new work in progress. Headed up by Improbable co-director Julian Crouch, designer of “Shockheaded Peter” and Broadway’s “The Addam’s Family.” Mmm… I wanna see them puppets.
PUPPET CINEMA features the work of more than a dozen of MN’s finest puppet makers and collections of our favorite puppet companies. The puppets are the audience, watching movies that… you know… puppets like to watch. Puppet Cinema, and the Balcony Bar are open an hour before every show and post show ’til 10 Thursday and Saturday and Midnight Friday. Come help us BEDLAM-IZE the Walker.
