Bedlam and Open Eye Figure Theatre are both furious local incubators of adventurous art and artists, producing spectacle large and small. This February, they join forces to bring to town a spectacular  mask production of Bertolt Brecht’s “Mother Courage and Her Children” in a new translation by Tony Kushner, co-created by Bricklayers Theater of Chicago and Paris’ Collectif Masque and starring Minneapolis grand dame of mask and stage, Barbra Berlovitz, as the titular ma.
