The play moves with the logic of a dream between the play and the trial, borrowing from the historic transcripts of the testimony as well as text from the play in which Galileo Galilei is interrogated by the inquisition for stating that the Earth revolves around the Sun. In Brechts Brain the great writer is also visited, prodded and challenged by four women with whom he collaborated (and some argued to whom he did not give due credit); Helene Wiegel, Ruth Berlau, Margarete Steffin and Elizabeth Hauptmann.![]()
