We’re all grieving the loss of Bedlam’s West Bank venue as a center of art and community for the Twin Cities as of September 2010.*
Bedlam’s laying the groundwork for a future venue. You can join in the process at the “Bedlam Community Design Center,” a warehouse/office/workshop spaced we’ve set up at the Ivy Arts Building in the Seward neighborhood, 2712 E 27th Street. The Design Center will be the command center in plotting out the future plans.
Meanwhile, Mixed Blood has provided a satelite office for continued presence in Cedar Riverside for Bedlam youth programs and we’ll be taking shows to venues around town.
Thanks for being part of Bedlam, we look forward to making it with you.
THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE… IS TO CREATE IT.
*PS 1501 is still there, intact, and a community center… it now houses the Darul Quba, former neighbor of Mixed Blood who’s building was torn down in the first weeks of October.
