sliding scale $5-7 donationThere is a crisis on the US/Mexican border, due to the free trade economic policies and the border militarization the US government has enacted it has become a low intensity war zone.  Direct aid groups like No More Deaths are trying to intervene to reduce border deaths in the desert, come join us for a film and discussion of the crisis at the Bedlam Theatre on May 6th at 8pm.

No More Deaths (nomoredeaths.org) is a direct aid group working on the US/Mexican border which provides humanitarian aid- food, water and medical care- to migrants crossing the Sonoran desert. We developed as a group in response to the increase in border deaths caused by free trade policies- specifically NAFTA and we are trying to resist the increase in border militarization post-9/11.
