A CHRISTMAS CAROL FINALE is a dark and rollicking musical that picks up right where A CHRISTMAS CAROL leaves off. This production bastardizes the broad cliches of Christmas cheer and charity while shining a light on the shadows of the human soul. Plus, it’s really freaking funny.

"A Christmas Carol Finale" is an original musical: book and lyrics by Laura Leffler-McCabe and Ben Mattson and music by Ben Mattson.  A workshop production of the show was presented last year at the Workhouse Theatre in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis. 

This dark and sardonic tale bastardizes the broad cliches of Christmas cheer and charity while casting light on the shadows of the human spirit.  The story starts right as Tiny Tim says that famous line and explores just how Scrooge’s change of heart changes the lives around him.  This is a rollicking holiday musical of which Santa wouldn’t approve.

 

"A Christmas Carol Finale" will be performed at 7:30 pm on Dec. 3, at 10 pm on Dec 4, 5 and 6, and at 7:30 pm on Dec. 7.  Performances are at the Bedlam Theatre, 1501 S. 6th St. in Minneapolis, MN.    Tickets are $10-12 and are available at the door.  Seating is limited.

 

The stellar cast of "A Christmas Carol Finale" includes Blake E. Bolan, Todd Janssen, Hazen Markoe, Katie Melby, Jonathan Peterson, David Schneider and Sarah Teich with musicians James Daniel Duquesne and Andrew Lynch.  The production is directed by Laura Leffler-McCabe and designed by Kit Leffler.  The production is stage managed by Chloe Wong.
